NFO: Birla Capital Protection Fund Series 7

Birla SunLife mutual fund has launched series 7 of its capital protection oriented fund. It is a 3 years or 36 Months Capital protection fund. The scheme seeks to provide capital appreciation linked to equity market with downside protection at the end of tenure. Fund expects to achieve downside protection by investing in debt securities with tenure comparable with the tenure of the Plan, subject to the credit risk and also to achieve the market-linked appreciation (upside) by investing in premium of exchange traded options.
